2007-2008 Welcome to SPARKS! Sparks is a club geared for Kindergarten - 2nd grade child (must be 5 by September 29, 2005). Sparks is an exciting program that features scripture memorization which includes three separate handbooks. ABT Sparks club meets each Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in the CMC Gym for opening ceremony and special announcements. Your child will follow Sparky through the Skipper, Hiker, and Climber handbooks as they learn about God, Jesus, and the Bible. The Sparks club also has game time, a favorite with the kids. Join the entire club for fun games and cheer their team on in a friendly non-competitive environment. Finally, during Green Meadow time, the kids join together to praise God and hear a special age-appropriate Gospel message. Your child will take pride in wearing their hard earned awards on their Sparky vest. Sparks meet from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. during the club year. You may drop off your clubbers starting at 6:45 p.m. Sparks start and finish the night in the CMC gym.
Nightly awards are given out at the end of Game Time. Parents are welcome to observe. Clubbers can be picked up from their color line in the CMC gym. Please help us by entering through the CMC gym door by the Secretary’s table. This will greatly reduce any confusion at the end of the evening. Your clubber will need a book, vest, and bag (optional). The costs are listed below:
